God is a poof.

Hopefully, some fundies will be upset by Joe Perez's assertions that God is Gay.

God made some men gay, because He made them in His image. God made gay men to love in gay ways, because God loves in gay ways. The beauty of gay men reflects the beauty of God. The beauty of gay ways of loving reflects the beauty of God's gay ways of loving. When someone fears and hates a gay man, he or she fears and hates God. When someone denegrates, despises, loathes, and harms a gay man, he or she denegrates, despises, loathes, and harms God.

Surely this proves that God is neither gay nor straight, but polymorphously perverse.

True enough. You have to read the entire post in my series The Importance of Being Gay to get my point, not just the excerpt on Pagan Prattle. I believe that before the polymorphous nature of God's ways of loving can be recognized, the Shadow hiding God's non-heterophilic ways of loving must be unmasked.

So therefore God must also be murderer, a rapist and a child molester?

It seems the case for the prosecution is overwhelming. God is guilty as charged. Good job we abolished the death penalty, eh?

Evangelism, witnessing and similar activitites go by one name here—advertising, and is no different from spam for viagra, penis enlargement products and pornography. We do not take advertising. If you want to advertise your imaginary friend, please spend your own money on your own web space to do so. Any attempts to use the comments section for advertisements will be deleted, and the perpetrator barred, unless they are particularly stupid, in which case I reserve the right to pinch an idea from Teresa Nielsen Hayden and delete all the vowels.

Allowed HTML: a href, b, br, p, strong, em, ol, ul, li, blockquote, q, pre. If your name has accents in it, things will (hopefully!) work better if you use the XHTML entities for those letters. The same applies if you are using a word processor to compose your comment, then copying and pasting the text—either turn off curly quotes and avoid using em-dashes, or edit your comment after pasting to get rid of them. Garbled comments usually get deleted.
