by Feòrag

A Presbyterial Commission (a kind of church court in the Church of Scotland) is in the final stages of its inquiry into a minister who tried to assault a 14-year-old boy. Reverend Ian Andrew was convicted at Stonehaven Sheriff Court in October and put on the Sex Offenders' Register, but sentence has been deferred until the kirk's own investigtion is complete. At the time of the offence, Andrew was a happily married man with two daughters.
