Siberia: Researchers in Siberia claim to have found the cause of the Tunguska explosion back in 1908 - an alien spacecraft!
The press service of the Evenkiya republic administration reported the expedition worked in the western part of the region in the summer of the current year. The mission's itinerary was based on the results of the space footage analysis. Explorers believe they have discovered blocks of an extraterrestrial technical device, which crashed down on Earth on June 30th, 1908. In addition, expedition members found the so-calleddeer- the stone, which Tunguska eyewitnesses repeatedly mentioned in their stories. Explorers delivered a 50-kilogram piece of the stone to the city of Krasnoyarsk to be studied and analyzed.
Needless to say, the press has paid considerably less attention to this large lump of rock.

So the stone is actually an alien spacecraft rather than just being a big lump of rock? Where are Mulder and Scully when you need them?

The rock is in addition to the lumps of MiG, Sukhoi or Soviet spacecraft that the researchers are claiming are parts of an alien spaceship. Here is an article which emphasises that aspect of the story, and also mentions that the 'researchers'are apparently believers who deliberately set out to find the remains of the alien craft they think was responsible for the explosion.

As incredible as this news release seems to be, I wont be holding my breath awaiting for verification anytime soon. However I want more information about the "Deer Stone" as I have searched 100's of links relating to the Tunguska event & can't find a dam thing about the "Deer Stone" would someone be so kind as to post up a comment here to educate the less informed such as myself on this ?

A quick Google search turned up this from meteorite-list:
Basically, it's a lump of atypical-for-the-area rock and "deer stone" is just the local name for it.

I think the deer stone probably has alot to do with the legend of the stag. The stag legend is very old mongolian hungarian decent legend of how life came to be in the region. You may want to look up the legend and then find all the deer stones,,,,you will see that they are very old and mostly in places where there are peaceful natives such as American Indians who are said to have these deer stones as well. Try putting in Summarian Magyar connection in the keywords,,,,you will find some really amazing connection to Pagan beginnings. If you keep searching you'll find one hell of a grail story connected to the magyar people too.
