God disapproves of books about Him.

United States: A man selling religious books is in a coma after being hit by lightning from a clear sky.

Hailu Kidane Marian was working with members of his religious group, selling religious materials door-to-door in a Northwest Miami-Dade neighborhood, when the bolt from the blue struck him down.

I heard a boom, and I looked and the guy jumped back, and he just laid there, stiff, said witness Maria Martinez.

Oh Lord, if you have anything against me profitting from fleecing the gullible, please send a sign.

Zap!

Oh the amusement. People look at you funny when you giggle to yourself in your cubicle for no apparant reason.

Let me see: A seller of Christian propaganda is struck by lightning, Christian churches are struck by lightning and burn down, the world's biggest Jesus is struck by lightning, when Mel Gibson's film "The Passion Of Christ" is being made the actor playing Jesus is struck by lightning and the assistant director Jan Michelini is also hit twice by lightning. But Madonna has never been hit by lightning even once. Exactly how many more signs are needed? What's that phrase, "I don't need lightning to strike me"?

Evangelism, witnessing and similar activitites go by one name here—advertising, and is no different from spam for viagra, penis enlargement products and pornography. We do not take advertising. If you want to advertise your imaginary friend, please spend your own money on your own web space to do so. Any attempts to use the comments section for advertisements will be deleted, and the perpetrator barred, unless they are particularly stupid, in which case I reserve the right to pinch an idea from Teresa Nielsen Hayden and delete all the vowels.

Allowed HTML: a href, b, br, p, strong, em, ol, ul, li, blockquote, q, pre. If your name has accents in it, things will work better if you use the XHTML entities for those letters. The same applies if you are using a word processor to compose your comment, then copying and pasting the text—either turn off curly quotes and avoid using em-dashes, or edit your comment after pasting to get rid of them. Garbled comments usually get deleted.
