Chestnut continues to be hairy

England: Some myths never die. Indeed, the internet seems to enable them to spread far more quickly than before. That some people are simply violent cunts who need to be locked up never occurs to most. It's either space aliens, the Beast of Bodmin or, as in this case, some kind of imaginary Satanist.

How to enjoy freshly-roasted Martyr

I can reach people who would like to cook but are finding it difficult. It’s the same with the spiritual. If people want it, I would like to be able to point them in the right direction.

Presumably by promoting the Magdalene Laundries, nice choirboys, roasted protestants and murdered cathars.

Even my sense of the ridiculous is strained by this complete disconnect with reality.

Will she be promoting specialist luxury fresh-cooked wafers - cannibalism a speciality?

Insane teenager meets insane "judge"

Lorraine Mbulawa, 19, escaped jail after judge Mr Justice Keith accepted the girl had such strong beliefs in witchcraft and evil that she was acting upon what she was told to do by spirits.
The court heard how all her family, including her mother, believe in the occult and did not blame her for what she had done.
In delivering his verdict Mr Justice Keith told Leeds Crown Court: She believed spirits can enter the body and make you do things that otherwise you would not have done. Her beliefs could have made her think she was possessed by evil spirits at the time.
If this ruling is allowed to set a precedent, then no-one is safe, even sleeping in their beds. It is clear that not only is the verdict perverse, but that the relevant judge is clearly unfit to preside over any sane court.

PUTIN as the arm of the Lord ???

Vladimir Putin has become the object of veneration for a bizarre Russian all-female sect

"According to the Bible, Paul the Apostle was a military commander at first and an evil persecutor of Christians before he started spreading the Christian gospel," the sect's founder, who styles herself Mother Fotina, said.

"In his days in the KGB, Putin also did some rather unrighteous things. But once he became president, he was imbued with the Holy Spirit, and just like the apostle, he started wisely leading his flock. It is hard for him now but he is fulfilling his heroic deed as an apostle."

On noe,not AGAIN!

The letter from Gliwice diocese also warned that in the best-selling books the “dangerous world of magic is presented as good”
“Teachers and parents should teach children to go the Lord Jesus if they have problems, and not seek help and answers from fortune telling,”

As opposed to the fairy-tales of the Catholic church, one presumes?

H. Beam Piper would have concurred.

The covert audio probe captured the gang condemning Mr Smith for 'teaching other religions to our sisters', the court heard

Four Muslim men are awaiting sentencing after being convicted of slashing a teacher’s face with a knife because they did not approve of a British school’s lessons on world religions being given to Muslim girls. Gary Smith, a religious studies teacher, was attacked by the gang in Bow, east London.

He suffered a fractured skull, and needed three operations to repair his face after being attacked with a knife, an iron bar and a lump of concrete.

H. Beam Piper once claimed that there were people who only believed in ONE god, then they would believe that all the other gods were false, and then that the one "god" could only be worshipped in one way, and all others were vile unbelievers and heretics.....
Well, here it is!

Bargain of the Day: Jesus Brolly

jesus-brolly.pngToday's fabulous offer is not, as it might seem at first, an umbrella which was seen by Jesus himself. The seller of Umbrella Jesus Image Seen Worldwide Featured In Book simply needs to win an auction for some punctuation.

Up for auction I have a truly AMAZING item. This is an umbrella with the image of Jesus Christ on the cross. I have had this umbrella for many years and some how pictures of it that I had on my computer leaked onto Youtube. I do not know how but the author of the new book Look It's Jesus Amazing Holy Visions in Everyday Life saw them and contacted me. He wanted more pictures and permission to use them in this new book he was working on. I gave him my permission and in exchange he sent me an autographed copy of the book when it was released which you can see from the picture. (THE BOOK IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION).

The editor of Entertainment Weekly loved Look! It's Jesus! so much that she put it in the Jan. 22, 2010 issue.

I will not tell the story of when and how I found the umbrella because it is all featured in the book. Which is a very interesting book by the way. But it is an interesting story.

Again this is the actual umbrella that is featured in this book as "Umbrella Jesus". This is not a man-made item or a scam. I even have the original picture I sent to the publisher on a disc somewhere and if I find it I will send it along with the item but once you see the umbrella you will see that it is the real deal.

It is hard to see from the pictures but looking at the umbrella, which is worn all the way around, the one side you can clearly see Jesus with his arms spread and his legs crossed and you can see his head bowing down with hair and a beard.

I would not recommend trying to use this umbrella because it is older and has some wear but it is a truly amazing item.

This item has truly been a blessing to me and I hope it will be a blessing to you.

I have to admit, I cannot clearly see Jesus. I can clearly see a pair of nicely rounded buttocks framing a rather well-used arsehole, though.
